This is the interlude where it breaks down into a heavy slap and pop part. The popping part can be played on G at 3, D at 8, or A at 13. I like to play it on G because it is easier, but I think it is played on D. Whatever works for you, works for me. It changes a lot, but I think that this is solid enough to know what you are playing.
